Greetings,

This past week we surpassed the 10,000 mark on the number of books back on the shelves at Howard-Tilton Memorial Library.

LAC also sent the first cataloged gift books back to H-TML for re-shelving last week. We welcomed Caitlin Young to our staff as our shelving clerk. She joins Carol Narcisse in accomplishing the task of shelving the books we move over each week. The summer days are heating up in the Big Easy, but inside the Recovery Center we are rarely without our sweaters since we keep the temperature at a cool 68 degrees. We appreciate the coolness more now that it is much hotter outside.
