I’m Dolores Hooper one of the Cataloging Technicians at the Tulane Recovery Center. Traveling to New Orleans was quite an adventure for me. My two cats and I traveled down to Louisiana in my RV, Honey Bee. As we journeyed from snowy Pennsylvania I was able to see the coming of spring in just three days.

Here in New Orleans one of my great pleasures is biking every day. It’s a real treat to get around New Orleans on my bike or on the streetcars since so much is always happening around town. Various festivals, the farmers markets, and the French Quarter can keep someone busy every weekend!

I’m glad to know that I am part of the process of getting these books back on the shelves and a small part of the overall recovery of New Orleans.
