Now that the Tulane Recovery Center is up and running after Hurricane Gustav, we have another story to share. The Archives team recently processed its 7800th item from the Angela Gregory Papers.

Local artist, Angela Gregory, donated a voluminous set of papers to the Tulane Manuscripts Department that included information on New Orleans cuisine, correspondence with famous writers and artists, as well as her own family’s papers.
The LAC Archives team has worked diligently over the last few weeks, inventorying Gregory’s papers and ephemera. Shown with the first processed box from these papers, Christina Schambach, Remesia Shields, and Brenda Flora shine with pride over this milestone. Also pictured is Christina Schambach showing some photographs that will be returned to Special Collections at Tulane.
