Hi! I’m Amanda Ros, Cataloger for the Tulane Libraries Recovery Center.

I started working in the library field in 1991 when I was a student aide as an undergraduate. I have experience doing just about every job that falls under “Technical Services”—serials, acquisitions, physical processing, and cataloging. Prior to my position here at the Recovery Center, I was the Non-print Cataloger for the public library system in my hometown of Pascagoula, MS.
I am very active in the American Library Association, as a graduate of the 2008 Emerging Leaders Program and have served on several committees. I am enjoying living in the NOLA area with all of the great restaurants and shopping this area has to offer. I am an avid pro football fan, and the Saints have been my favorite team for most of my life. Geaux Saints!
